Your Rights Under the CCPA

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents specific rights over their personal data. We respect these rights for everyone regardless of location. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the sources, and the business purpose behind it. You can request deletion of your data from our active systems. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. You can request correction of inaccurate information. And you will never face discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

What “Selling Information” Means

We want to be clear: Wearizo does not exchange your personal information with data brokers for money.

However, under California law, the definition of “selling” or “sharing” is broader than most people assume. Using standard website tools like Google Analytics or advertising pixels to understand traffic and show relevant ads is legally considered “sharing” data, even though no money changes hands and we’re not handing over your name and address to anyone.

Because our site uses these standard tools to function smoothly, we provide a way for you to opt out of this specific type of data sharing.

How to Submit an Opt-Out Request

Our site is designed without cookie-blocking pop-ups or banner plugins — we keep things clean and fast. The way to opt out is by email.

Send an email to contact@wearizo.com with the exact subject line: “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”

In the body, include your full name (as used on our site or order), the email address associated with your account or order, and a brief statement that you’re requesting to opt out.

That’s all we need. No forms, no account creation, no hoops.

Verification and Response Time

We need to verify your identity before processing any request — standard precaution to make sure we’re acting on a legitimate request and not giving someone else access to your data.

We verify by matching the information in your email against records in our system. In most cases, that’s straightforward. If we can’t verify with what you’ve provided, we may ask for one or two additional details like an order number.

We will never ask for your full credit card number, Social Security number, or account password during verification.

Timeline: we confirm receipt within 1 to 2 business days. We fully implement your request within 45 calendar days. If we need more time due to complexity, we may extend by an additional 45 days (90 days maximum) and will notify you of the delay and reason within the initial 45-day period.

Authorized Agents

You can designate someone to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must email us with signed written permission or valid power of attorney from you. We may also contact you directly to confirm before processing.

Right to Non-Discrimination

Exercising your privacy rights will never result in negative consequences from Wearizo. We will not deny you access to our products, charge you different prices, provide lower quality service, or penalize you in any way for opting out or making a data request. Your shopping experience stays exactly the same.

Children Under 16

Our products are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information from anyone under 16. If a parent or guardian believes a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately at contact@wearizo.com and we’ll delete it.

Important Technical Note

Our email opt-out process removes your information from our active backend sharing and marketing lists. However, because we don’t use automated cookie-blocking plugins on our site, tracking cookies that were already placed on your device during previous visits will remain there until you clear them manually.

To fully complete your opt-out on a technical level, go to your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, etc.) and clear your cache and cookies for wearizo.com. This is a one-time step on each device and browser you’ve used to visit our site.
